While we could list dozens of places, we are picking the ones we feel are most popular with gay visitors to Pattaya and Jomtien Complex.

Dongtan Gay Beach Jomtien

Dongtan Gay Beach

Dongtan Beach has been a destination for gay visits to Pattaya for over 30 years. Conveniently it’s only a 5 minute walk from Jomtien Complex. Under the parasols you can rent cheap loungers and get cold drinks and food from nearby venders.

Big Buddha Temple Jomtien

Big Buddha Temple

Also known by its Thai name Wat Phra Khao Yai, spend a couple of hours taking a walk up Pratumnak hill to this amazing temple and huge golden Buddha statue, with it’s huge stairway flanked by dragons.

Buddha Mountain

Buddha Mountain

Known in Thai as Khao Chi Chan, Buddha Mountain is the biggest engraving of Buddha in the world. It makes a great spot for a holiday selfie. Engraved in 1996 to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 50th year on the throne and only a short drive from Jomtien.

Pattaya Floating Market

One of many floating markets in Thailand, when visiting here be sure to hire a small boat. Float around and take a look and great Thai food and products at good prices. A great spot for buying some souvenirs.

Koh Larn

Koh Larn

This popular island is located only 7 km from Pattaya. Boats leave several times a day from Bali Hai Pier. The far side of Koh Larn has some fantastic beaches if you fancy an adventure getting there. Great for a day trip or overnight.

Pattaya Elephant Sanctuary

You won’t be riding elephants here. An ethical sanctuary where you can interact with these beautiful animals. Please do not ride elephant’s in Thailand. A short drive from Jomtien and a great day out.

Sanctuary Of Truth Pattaya

Sanctuary Of Truth

One of the most breath taking temples in Thailand. It’s still under construction and it’s said it will never be finished. It’s located just north of Pattaya city and easy to get to. Entrance fee is 500 Baht and wearing a hard hat is required for safety.

Jomtien Night Market

Jomtien Night Market

Located along the beach only a 10 minutes walk from Jomtien Complex, this night market has great value food and a great spot to watch the sunset. Thai and many other cuisines are sold here, and prices are very cheap.
